Bonded NdFeB technology was derived from Sinter NdFeB technology. In comparison, it¡¯s lower in flux strength, however it¡¯s versatile in orientation and configuration in magnetization. It¡¯s particularly suitable for brushless motors; sever motors, permanent stepping motors, PM stepping motors, and sensor motors, where multi-pole magnetization is necessary. It overcomes the weakness of single-directional magnetization of sintered NdFeB and SmCom magnets. Bonded magnet technology greatly expends the application of this type of high performance magnet. In addition, with proper adjustment of the formulation, it can significantly reduce the cost to a point that, in some cases replacing Ferric oxide permanent magnets.
