Injection molded NdFeB
is the product of a newly developed process, which maintains a high
level of performance and at the same time allows high efficiency and
precision in the production process. After mixing with polymer-based
binder, under designed magnetic orientation, magnet blanks are molded
into desirable configuration. It¡¯s one of the three major methods
in making NdFeB magnet. It complements the traditional molding and
sintered process by providing following advantages:
1. With a single injection molding cycle, it can make very complex
shaped magnets, such as gears,
screws and irregular holes etc;
2. It can be molded embed with other metal or plastic materials to
make a complete sub-assembly;
3. It can produce ultra fine and precise magnets, which the sintering
process will not be able to
achiev;
4. It is suitable for multi-pole magnetization. The products are widely
used in PM DC motors,
Stepping motors, control motors, instrumentation
motors, air-conditioner fan motors, copiers,
printers, code-makers and so on;
5. With different binder and filler formula, it can achieve wide ranges
of desirable physical and
chemical characteristics (When used with ferrite
magnetic powder, it can produce magnets with
different characteristics).
