SmCo magnets are made from Samarium(Sm), Cobalt(Co) and other rare earth metals. It has high flux characteristic and high thermal tolerance. Its operating temperature can reach 350C. Also, it has high resistance to oxidation and corrosion, making surface treatment unnecessary.
